I have heard a lot in the gaming community that PC gamers feel that they already have the next gen within their high end computers. The fact of the matter is, the games are the same. They play the same. They have the same features generally. The graphics and physics are the only thing that got an upgrade typically. Jumping up to 8GB RAM in the new consoles is a drastic leap from where we stand today. This will allow for a myriad of new tricks and extras. We've complained before about lack of Easter Eggs in games today too, and this opens the door to bring them back along with all of the graphical, physical, and whatever else they wanna toss in. I for one am incredibly excited for this next push and can only hope the fan base keeps their heads about them while we test out these new technologies.
Also, I think it's time for the Sony v. Microsoft v. Nintendo v. PC free-for-all fan-feud to end. We all like games, unite under that banner and let others have fun with their choices too.
